Job Title: Data Governance Manager

 

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee governance frameworks, service management operations, and compliance initiatives in alignment with industry standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop Governance Frameworks: Create and implement robust governance frameworks that align with industry standards (COBIT, ITIL, ISO 20000).
  • Policies and Procedures: Develop, implement, and monitor IT policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Risk Management: Oversee policy development, compliance tracking, and IT service management continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Audit and Compliance: Coordinate IT risk assessments, audit readiness activities, and regulatory reporting.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, auditors, and regulators to ensure IT processes support organizational goals.
  • Governance Calendar: Maintain and manage the IT governance calendar, including governance forums, meetings, and action tracking.
  • Expert Guidance: Provide expert guidance on governance best practices, control mechanisms, and compliance frameworks.
  • Governance Documentation: Prepare governance documentation, dashboards, and reports for senior management, risk committees, and audit boards.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in IT Governance, ITSM, Compliance, or Risk Management roles.
  • Frameworks Knowledge: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with COBIT, ITIL, and ISO 20000 frameworks.
  • Policy Development: Proven track record of policy development, audit readiness, and governance program execution.
  • IT Risk Management: Excellent understanding of IT risk management, regulatory compliance, and audit processes.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Relevant Certifications: Relevant certifications such as COBIT, ITIL Expert, ISO 20000, CISA, or CGEIT are highly desirable.
