Marine Operations Support Specialist

The role of an Assistant - Technical Superintendent involves supporting the Technical department in managing day-to-day technical operations of assigned vessels. This includes monitoring vessel performance and contributing to planned maintenance.
This position requires a strong understanding of maritime regulations, technical ship operations, and purchasing processes. Familiarity with planned maintenance systems (PMS), certification standards, and marine repair cycles is also essential.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Technical team in managing technical operations.
- Monitoring vessel performance and contributing to planned maintenance.
- Ensuring compliance with maritime regulations and company policies.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 4 years of experience in the marine industry, preferably in a technical capacity.
- A strong understanding of maritime regulations, technical ship operations, and purchasing processes.
- Familiarity with planned maintenance systems (PMS), certification standards, and marine repair cycles.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
