Job Title: IT Asset Management Specialist

Location: PAN INDIA

Experience Required: 7+ Years

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage comprehensive IT asset management strategies.
  • Lead the software asset management lifecycle, including license optimization, compliance audits, procurement, renewals, and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cost-effective solutions and regulatory compliance.
  • Perform thorough software discovery, reconciliation, and compliance checks across multiple publishers (Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe, IBM, SAP, etc.).
  • Provide strategic inputs for vendor negotiations, true-up, and contract renewals.
  • Drive process improvements and automation within IT asset management practice.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop insightful dashboards, reports, and KPIs to monitor ITAM/SAM performance and governance.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Proven experience in IT asset management and software asset management tools (e.g., ServiceNow SAM Pro, Flexera, Snow, Ivanti).
  • Solid understanding of license models (perpetual, subscription, cloud/SaaS, BYOL, enterprise agreements).
  • Hands-on expertise in software license optimization, audits, and compliance management.
  • Ability to manage hardware asset lifecycle (procurement, inventory, disposal, refresh).
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes (especially ITAM/SAM, CMDB, Incident, Change, and Procurement).
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with experience in Excel, Power BI, or ServiceNow reports.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
