Design Engineer - Gear Cutting Tools

At our organisation, we are seeking a skilled Design Engineer to develop and design gear cutting tools using computer-aided design (CAD) software. As a member of our team, you will play a key role in driving the development of innovative products and contributing to the company's success.

The successful candidate will have strong skills in design engineering and product design, with expertise in CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks. They will also possess excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and design gear cutting tools using CAD software
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing and quality teams to ensure product specifications are met
  • Oversee the design process from concept to completion
  • Conduct technical analysis and problem-solving

Requirements:

  • Strong skills in design engineering and product design
  • Proficiency in mechanical engineering, preferably gear concepts
  • Expertise in CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Relevant experience in the gear cutting tools industry is advantageous
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in mechanical engineering, design engineering, or a related field
