Job Title: Cybersecurity Leader

The Cybersecurity Leader plays a critical role in maintaining the organization's security posture and minimizing the impact of cyberattacks.


Responsibilities:
  1. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing cybersecurity team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  2. Oversee the incident response process, from initial detection and analysis to containment, eradication, and recovery.
  3. Manage and maintain security monitoring tools and systems, analyzing security logs and alerts to identify suspicious activity and potential threats.
  4. Stay up-to-date with the latest threat intelligence, attack techniques, and security vulnerabilities, using threat intelligence to proactively identify and mitigate potential threats.
  5. Evaluate, implement, and manage security tools and technologies to improve the organization's defenses, ensuring proper configuration and maintenance of security infrastructure.
  6. Collaborate with vulnerability management teams to prioritize and remediate identified vulnerabilities, ensuring timely patching and mitigation of security weaknesses.
  7. Contribute to the development and delivery of security awareness training programs to educate employees about cybersecurity best practices.
  8. Collaborate closely with other security teams and business stakeholders to improve the organization's overall security posture.
  9. Prepare and deliver clear, concise, and actionable reports to management and technical teams, outlining security incidents, trends, and recommendations.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field preferred. Relevant certifications are highly desirable.
  • Extensive experience in cybersecurity operations, incident response, and security analysis. Demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Deep understanding of network protocols, operating systems, security tools, and incident response procedures. Proficiency in security information and event management (SIEM) systems and other security monitoring tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
