Software Deployment Specialist

We are seeking an experienced software deployment specialist to ensure seamless application packaging and deployment across various environments.

About the Role
  • Handle customer requirements for application packaging as a single point of contact.
  • Maintain expertise in Windows 7/8/10 migration projects, focusing on application packaging and testing.
  • Develop proficiency in Admin Studio and Install shield for efficient packaging solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Scripting and automation using VB/WMI, Batch Scripting, PowerShell, and PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit.
  • Application testing and remediation techniques for producing Windows 7/8 compatible applications using tools like ACT 5.6.
  • Expertise in virtualization technologies, including VMware Workstation and Oracle Virtual Box for virtual builds.
  • Knowledge of creating and repackaging applications using Wise or Admin Studio.
  • Solid understanding of Windows Installer Technologies, including MSI Packaging, Tables, Custom Actions, and Standard Actions.
  • Application Virtualization Technologies, including App-V 4.6 and 5.0.
  • Troubleshooting using tools like FileMon, RegMon, PictureTaker, etc.
Requirements
  • Experience with Admin Studio and Install shield.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (VB, WMI, Batch, PowerShell).
  • Familiarity with application testing and remediation techniques.
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Virtual Box).
  • Solid understanding of Windows Installer Technologies.
