About the Role

">

The ideal candidate for this role will primarily focus on preparing, testing and releasing software within customer environments. This support involves incident resolution and request fulfillment, contributing to the daily operation of the Endpoint environment.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Ensure the correct packaging and delivery approach is employed based on the application requirements.">
  • In accordance with agreed processes, execute the steps of the application packaging process within the Service Level Agreement limits, encompassing: ">

  3. packaging (involving various packaging tools)">
  4. technical testing">
  5. documentation">
  6. deployment">
  7. maintenance">
">Resolve incidents and requests related to packages within the agreed timeframes.">Update the customer and IT Service Management ticket throughout its lifecycle.">Collaborate with change management, customers, application owners and vendors where necessary.">Liaise with external packaging services for specific package requests, reviewing their output to ensure deliverables meet agreed standards before proceeding with the release process.">Manage and support customer environments built using Windows client operating systems, Active Directory Group Policy, Microsoft Defender, SoftwareCentral and the Microsoft Intune product family (Microsoft Configuration Manager / Intune).">Address and resolve assigned incidents while implementing requests and changes, ensuring actions do not breach SLAs or cause unforeseen business impact.">Update the customer and ITSM ticket throughout its lifecycle.">Collaborate with the Service Desk, other resolver groups, the customer and vendors as needed to resolve tickets.">Adhere to relevant customer and Getronics policies and procedures.">Consult senior colleagues or management regarding assigned tickets requiring assistance.">Escalate to management when a ticket is at risk of breaching SLA.">">

Qualifications:

A minimum of four years of experience in preparing applications for deployment on Windows Operating Systems, utilizing available setup commands/scripting as well as repackaging and customizing setup applications using tooling such as InstallShield, RayPack, etc.

Required Skills:

  • ">
  • Thorough knowledge of MSI and MSIX packaging frameworks.">
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows 11 and AD Group Policies.">
  • Intermediate level knowledge of PowerShell Scripting and basic VB scripting in support of automating application installations.">
  • Operational understanding of the Microsoft Intune product family including Microsoft Configuration Manager with a focus on application creation/integration and deployment.">
  • Possess excellent troubleshooting and logical reasoning skills.">
  • Experience working in an ITIL-based operations environment using IT Service Management toolsets such as ServiceNow.">
  • Ability to adapt during emergencies.">
  • Proficiency in English.">
