Data Engineer Role

This is a technical contributor position ideal for individuals who excel in execution rather than high-level architecture.

The role involves delivering under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment and contributing to the prioritization and phased delivery of large-scale data integrations.

A strong background in data ingestion, transformation, and optimization is essential. Proficiency in Python scripting and automation is also required.

Experience with PySpark, DBT, and API-driven data integrations is highly valued. Familiarity with cloud-hosted data solutions and observability is also desirable.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain ETL pipelines using Python and related tools.
  • Execute migrations from Fivetran and other legacy connectors into Snowflake/Nexla.
  • Build and optimize API-based integrations (authentication, pagination, automation).
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and monitoring across pipelines.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of Snowflake.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Experience with PySpark and DBT.
  • Familiarity with AWS/cloud-hosted data solutions.

Nice to Have:

  • Prior experience with large-scale plugin migrations.
  • Familiarity with Fivetran or similar aggregation platforms.
