Data Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have strong software engineering skills and expertise in data platforms, AWS ecosystem, and microservices architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable and efficient data platforms using AWS services such as EMR, Glue, S3, Redshift, and Athena.
  • BUILD event-driven systems using Lambda, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, EventBridge, and integrate these services into scalable and decoupled data pipelines and microservices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data lake/data warehouse architectures.
  • Work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Requirements:

  • Solid programming expertise, especially in Python, with strong fundamentals in computer science, data structures, algorithms, and system design.
  • Proven problem-solving ability with a focus on writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end data platform architecture—from ingestion to transformation to consumption.
  • Hands-on experience building and scaling data platforms in production environments.
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS services relevant to data engineering.
  • Familiarity with designing and working within microservices-based architectures.
