About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced test engineer with a strong background in trade finance testing. As a Trade Finance Testing Expert, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our clients' trade finance systems.
Responsibilities- Functional requirement analysis from business requirement documents
- Test scenario and test plan preparation and review
- Manual and automation testing
- Defect logging and tracking to closure, defect management
- Stakeholder management
- Travel and client-facing communication
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proven working experience in trade finance - letter of credit/bank guarantee/bills for both domestic and foreign operations
- System awareness, testing, and certification of various trade finance products/customizations
- Thorough knowledge of trade finance operations and regulatory guidelines
- Good understanding of trade finance products and functions
- Working knowledge of functional and GUI testing, regression testing an advantage
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain bugs and other issues identified and produce bug reports, documentation, and feedback
- Ability to highlight and drive issues forward from identification through to resolution
- Experience working on core banking systems like Flexcube, Finacle, and FIS for trade business
- Flexibility to align to client requirements and work
- Professional certification, e.g., CTFP, an added advantage
