Trade Finance Manager

Embark on a challenging role as a Trade Finance Manager at MUFG, where you will be responsible for driving the growth and development of our trade finance operations team. With a focus on high-level experience in trade finance processing, excellent technical abilities, and people skills, you will assist with the drive and development of the team to meet the changing landscape of the business.
The role is centered around accurate, error-free, and timely processing of transactions within the team, strict adherence to all procedures, controls, and governance, and assisting with the motivation and direction of analysts to deliver high-level service to all clients (internal and external).
This role has an additional focus on supporting team structural changes necessary to support business growth, streamline end-to-end processes, enhance control, and maximize efficiencies. As a manager, you will utilize your people skills to lead, drive, and motivate allocated sub-teams, ensuring a customer-first attitude and excellent communication skills.
You will also be responsible for developing and improving client relationships, making MUFG the preferred bank to deal with and maximizing our wallet share of business. With strong decision-making skills, the ability to demonstrate sound judgment, and a structured and logical approach to work, you will ensure compliance with all Bank and Regulatory requirements to mitigate financial and compliance risks.
To succeed in this role, you should have a minimum of 8 years' experience working in a trade finance operations environment, with experience in oversight of workflow, operation control, and responsibility of verification of work. You should also possess thorough understanding of all trade finance products, import and export LCs, collections, and financing, as well as knowledge of UCP600 and other relevant ICC publications.
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000-$120,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with opportunities for career growth and professional development.
