Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Operations:
  • Prepare and verify purchase and sales bills, matching with POs, invoices, and supplementary bills.
  • Control cash flow, prepare vouchers, and enter daily transactions in accounting books/ERP systems.
  • Manage creditors, process vendor payments via NEFT/RTGS.
  • Liaise with bankers for daily operations and handle LC documentation.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements (BRS).
  • Compute salaries and wages, maintain salary and attendance registers.
  • Prepare monthly stock statements for banks (cash credit facility).
  • Assist in finalizing accounts, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Draft official letters related to accounts and statutory matters.
  • Prepare management information system (MIS) reports.

Statutory Compliances

  • Income Tax: Compute TDS, file returns, issue Form 16/16A, compute advance tax, and file ITR.
  • GST: Register, amend, generate challans, file GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B, annual returns, refunds, audits, and E-Way bills.
  • PF & ESI: Make monthly contributions, generate UAN, transfer/withdraw funds, and register employees under PF/ESI.
  • Legacy Compliances: VAT/CST, Excise Duty – file, reconcile, and provide audit support.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum B.Com (Accounting/Finance) degree required.
  • Preferred M.Com or specialization in Finance/Accounts.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian taxation, GST, TDS, PF/ESI, and statutory compliance.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Tally, and ERP systems.

Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple statutory timelines.
