Job Title:

Internal Control Professional

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Control Testing: We conduct control testing as part of our Control Monitoring Program to ensure the effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Policy and Procedure Application: Our team adequately applies Company policies, procedures, accounting standards, and seeks advice as necessary.
  • Risk Evaluation and Testing: We evaluate risk and test internal controls through an understanding of key business processes and identify opportunities for best practices and improvements.
  • Problem Solving: We determine alternative solutions to problems, evaluate courses of action, and reach sound business decisions.
  • Documentation: We document accurate, logical, and detailed workpapers that clearly describe the review objective, test procedures, and results.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • SOXHub Tool (AuditBoard): Develops and understands the SOXHub Tool (AuditBoard) and its use for work responsibilities.
  • Communication: Demonstrates clear, concise, and respectful written and verbal communication skills.
  • Teamwork: Promotes teamwork and develops cohesiveness in achieving organizational objectives.
  • Ad-Hoc Projects: Assists in training new team members on controls, supports and monitors controls remediation efforts, and meets deadlines and milestones for all assigned projects.
Qualifications and Technical Competencies Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Understanding of US GAAP, GAAS, Sarbanes-Oxley, COSO framework, and leading business practices.
  • 1 year of relevant experience in Risk & Compliance or Internal Control role, finance experience preferred.
  • Microsoft Office skills, primarily Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint.
