Project Manager - Cost Control Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Control Specialist to manage the financial aspects of large, complex projects. This involves interpreting architectural drawings, estimating costs, and preparing detailed cost reports.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Interpretation and Estimation: Interpret drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates and conduct rate analysis to ensure project profitability.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Liaise with vendors, analyze costs, and manage procurement inquiries to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Site Visits and Project Tracking: Visit sites to understand challenges and validate costs, and track project progress to maintain updated pricing.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Document best practices and ensure compliance with tax and company policies.

Key Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years experience in project costing/estimation (construction preferred)
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Revit, AutoCAD
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical or equivalent; MBA an added advantage
  • Willinngness to travel as required
