Job Description:

  • We are seeking a seasoned software expert to design and develop business applications using the Pega 8 platform.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in implementing solutions within the Pega environment, adhering to Pega and Cotiviti best practices and standards.
  • This role involves developing and demonstrating advanced knowledge of the Pega Architecture and all design and implementation best practices and features.
  • The selected individual will contribute to the continuous improvement of applications through participation in collaborative activities such as design and code reviews.
  • Detailed responsibilities include designing class structures, application frameworks, and data models.
  • The candidate will demonstrate a superior understanding and implement applications using the declarative and model-driven capabilities of the Pega platform.
  • Coordinating with the project team to ensure the business architecture matches the needs of the customer is also essential.
  • Integrating business databases, legacy systems, and web services is a key responsibility.
  • Troubleshooting application issues, coding bugs, and bottlenecks is another critical task.
  • Conducting system performance tests and maintaining the security of all system applications are also important duties.
  • Providing mentorship to peers and junior team members is a valuable aspect of this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong written skills with the ability to convey functional details accurately in a well-structured and precise manner.
  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering or computer science is required.
  • Proven work experience as a Pega developer is necessary.
  • Advanced knowledge of Pega PRPC 5.x/6.x/7.x is expected.
  • Certified CSSA/CLSA is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodology is desired.
  • Knowledge of coding languages including Angular JS, Java, and JQuery is required.
  • Knowledge of web technologies including JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, and XML is essential.
  • Excellent project management skills are necessary.
  • Able to troubleshoot complex software issues.
  • Aptitude to learn quickly and superb attention to detail and process orientation.
  • Will to go the extra mile and dedication to achieving outstanding customer results.
