Pega Developer Job Description

Design and develop Pega applications, components, flows, activities, and interfaces according to business requirements.

  • We are seeking a skilled Pega developer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Create custom Pega solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
  2. Collaborate with architects and technical leads to ensure Pega solutions follow industry best practices and company standards.
  3. Implement integrations between Pega and external systems using REST, SOAP, MQ, or other protocols.
  4. Develop and maintain high-quality code to ensure seamless functionality.
  5. Debug and resolve application issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement fixes in a timely manner.
  6. Create and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, application configuration, and deployment guides.
  7. Support UAT and production releases, including monitoring and incident resolution.
  8. Continuously learn and adopt new features in Pega to enhance application capabilities and performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience with Pega PRPC development.
  • Pega CSA (Certified System Architect) certification is required.
  • Proficiency in core Pega features including case types, flows, activities, data pages, and declarative rules.
  • Experience with Pega integration (SOAP, REST, connectors/services).
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and BPM principles.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
