As a Chief Technology Officer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic implementation and maintenance of technology solutions that support our academic, administrative, and research needs.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in administering Windows Server environments, strong knowledge of networking concepts, and experience with virtualization technologies.

  • Oversee daily IT operations, ensuring network availability, server performance, and system uptime.
  • Provide advanced technical support for hardware and software issues for faculty, staff, and students.
  • Implement and manage software deployment, updates, and patching across our systems.

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to lead or assist in the planning, execution, and completion of IT projects, such as system upgrades, infrastructure improvements, and new technology rollouts.

The successful candidate will contribute to the development and maintenance of comprehensive IT documentation, including system configurations, network diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and asset inventories.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Expertise in administering Windows Server environments.
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, Firewalls, Routers, and Switches.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing concepts, including Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
  • Hands-on experience with database management, including SQL Server and MySQL.
