About the Role

We are establishing a new dairy processing center in Hyderabad and seeking an experienced Dairy Operations Specialist to lead the setup, commissioning, and smooth operation of our plant. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in dairy industry operations, plant establishment, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day management of milk procurement, processing, and distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic guidance on setting up the new dairy processing center – from plant design to commissioning.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for milk procurement, chilling, pasteurization, homogenization, packaging, and quality assurance.
  • Oversee equipment selection, installation, and process optimization in coordination with technical teams and vendors.
  • Establish efficient supply chain and distribution processes for milk and dairy product delivery.
  • Train and mentor staff on best practices in dairy plant operations.
  • Offer expertise in ERP integration for procurement, processing, sales, and finance modules.
  • Establish key performance indicators and dashboards to monitor plant efficiency, yield, and quality.
  • Advise management on new product development and diversification opportunities.
  • Act as a liaison between management, technical consultants, vendors, and regulatory authorities.

Qualifications & Experience

10+ years of experience in dairy processing, operations, or plant management.

A proven track record of establishing or managing dairy processing plants (medium to large scale).

Strong knowledge of milk procurement systems, processing technologies, quality control, and dairy product lines.
