Senior Java Developer (Bilingual)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned senior developer with expertise in Java and Spring Boot to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying robust backend components using Java and Spring Boot.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering principles, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions on time. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop backend components using Java and Spring Boot
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and collaboration
  • Work closely with junior developers to mentor and guide them
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and design documents

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in software development with a focus on Java and Spring Boot
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns
  • Experience with Agile methodology and DevOps practices
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and conversing in both Japanese and English languages

Preferred Qualifications:

  • JLPT N3 or N2 certification
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with NodeJS, MySQL database, and Postgress database
  • Familiarity with OpenShift, containerization, CI/CD, and DevOps practices

Candidate Profile:

  • Exposure to test automation and monitoring tools
  • Ability to effectively coordinate with Customer SMEs, Onsite, and Offshore teams
