**Job Description:**

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Senior Backend Developer. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js.

The successful candidate will collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and QA to deliver high-quality features, write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices, and optimize application performance, security, and scalability.

**Required Skills & Qualifications:**

  • Professional experience in backend development with a focus on Node.js
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL (preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with databases: SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis)
  • Expertise in microservices architecture and event-driven systems
  • Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization/orchestration tools
  • Familiarity with AWS/GCP/Azure cloud services
  • Strong knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Chai, etc.)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
