Virtual Desktop Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Virtual Desktop Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing virtual desktop environments using Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) technology.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AVD, including creating and managing host pools, VM instances, application groups, and workspaces. They will also be proficient in providing access to remote applications and desktops, as well as adding new VMs to host pools.

In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide expert-level support to users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and manage virtual desktop environments using AVD technology
  • Create and manage host pools, VM instances, application groups, and workspaces
  • Provide access to remote applications and desktops
  • Add new VMs to host pools
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and provide expert-level support to users
