Financial Risk Analyst Role

This opportunity is to take on a key part in monitoring, analysing and reporting on credit and market risk exposure for the region.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting senior stakeholders and contribute directly to risk reporting for committees and management.

Responsibilities
  • Preparing regular financial reports and analysis inputs for management committee packs.
  • Reviewing and sending out breach notifications to relevant parties.
  • Conducting thorough credit analysis of new and existing clients.
  • Providing detailed margin rates and monitoring margin levels, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Supporting colleagues in the absence of other risk analysts or market risk leads.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of capital markets fundamentals, including mark-to-market processes. They should also possess knowledge and experience of equity and fixed income products, advanced Excel skills and the ability to write complex macros.
