Cloud & DevOps Engineer

This role involves designing and developing infrastructure interfaces for complex business applications, contributing to improving cloud and DevOps practices, and delivering innovation through automation.

To achieve this, you will collaborate with clients to turn complex ideas into end-to-end solutions that transform their businesses. You will lead the implementation of engineering aspects of digital business transformations using cloud, multi-cloud, security, observability, and DevOps as technology enablers.

  • Create highly scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure optimized for performance, cost, and compliance with security standards.
  • Enable customers to accelerate their software development lifecycle and reduce time-to-market for their products or services.
Requirements

We are looking for a skilled Cloud & DevOps Engineer with:

  • 5-9 years of experience in Cloud & DevOps with a full-time Bachelor's or Master's degree (Science or Engineering preferred).
  • Expertise in at least one cloud platform, including GCP, Azure, or AWS.
  • Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation/ARM Templates/Deployment Manager/Pulumi.
  • Managing container infrastructure, including On Prem and Managed environments like AWS ECS, EKS, or GKE.
  • Designing, implementing, and upgrading container infrastructure, such as K8S clusters and node pools.
  • Creating and maintaining deployment manifest files for microservices using Helm.
  • Utilizing service mesh Istio to create gateways, virtual services, traffic routing, and fault injection.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving container infrastructure and deployment issues, including Continues Integration & Continues Deployment.
  • Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for software delivery using Git and tools like Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI, Bamboo, and Travis CI.
  • Automating build, test, and deployment processes to ensure efficient release cycles and enforce software development best practices.
  • Implementing DevSecOps practices and tools to integrate security into the software development and deployment lifecycle.
  • Managing artifact repositories like Nexus and JFrog Artifactory for version control and release management.
  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools like Jaeger, Kiali, CloudTrail, Open Telemetry, Dynatrace, Elastic Stack, Fluentd, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and New Relic.
Desirable Qualifications

Awarded Associate Level Public Cloud Certifications and/or Terraform Associate Level certification are beneficial.
