Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Performance Tester to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience with performance testing strategies, including load, stress, and scalability testing. Responsibilities include designing, scripting, and executing tests, as well as delivering comprehensive reports to the project team.

Key Accountabilities
  • Maintain technical expertise in performance/load testing principles.
  • Design and develop solutions for supporting cloud-based services and CI/CD.
  • Communicate effectively across multiple teams and vendors.
  • Monitor server metrics using APM tools.
  • Participate in continuous improvement measures to increase automation effectiveness.
  • Innovate and implement solutions based on industry standards.
  • Analyze business requirements and solution designs to identify feasible transactions.

Operational Management
  • Conduct endurance, stress, load, and volume testing to validate software applications and infrastructure stability and performance.
  • Provide performance testing support for respective business units.
  • Coordinate and execute creation of test cases, scripts, and performance test execution.
  • Develop and execute scripts to validate test cases defined within the project plan.
  • Perform load testing across multiple messaging protocols, focusing on overall application performance and validating outputs accurately.

People Leadership
  • Mentor and guide junior team members.

Governance & Risk
  • Track and communicate task progress, status, and key performance metrics.
  • Use standard defect tracking tools to promptly and accurately report defects found in testing.


Requirements & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • 7+ years of performance testing experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with OpenText LoadRunner and protocols such as Citrix, RDP, Java, and mobile technologies.
  • Significant experience working with Jmeter and APM tools like NewRelic and Graphana.
  • Proven experience with SOAP Web Services and RESTful Web Services testing using SOAP UI, Postman, and Swagger.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in performance testing principles, techniques, and standards.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software quality assurance (SQA) processes and practices.
  • Experience working with CI/CD tools and practices such as Jenkins, Azure repo, Bitbucket, azure devops, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
