Job Title: Experienced Software Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated software developer to join our team. As an experienced software developer, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end projects, specifically working on existing client projects.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong knowledge of HCM (Human Capital Management) domain, payroll, and benefits is essential.

  • Requirements gathering from clients and vendors.
  • Provide effective impact and gap analysis based on requirements received.
  • Creation of contingency plans and alternative solutions for clients and vendors.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience working in Agile and Waterfall models.
  • Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) phases and work structure.
  • Ability to develop/design complex SQL queries.
  • Understanding of bug tracking flows and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
  • Performing unit testing, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), writing test cases, and creating test matrices.
  • Scheduling meetings with clients and vendors for walkthroughs of Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), and Technical Design Specifications.
  • Managing development status, logic hurdles, test progress, product quality, and defect entry/closure progress through participation in daily standup meetings.
  • Understanding SFTP/MFT setup and configuration completion.
  • Triage issues quickly and provide solutions.
  • Exposure to CR (Change Request) management processes through gap analysis and impact analysis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Implement interfaces as a liaison between ADP and Client/Vendor systems.
  • Understand project management process groups: Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring & Controlling, and Closing.
  • Extensive experience in writing SQL queries with various types of joins for data validation.
  • Good experience with MS Excel (V-Lookup, H-Lookup, Pivot).
  • Writing FRDs, BRDs, SRSs, etc.
  • Writing test cases and creating test matrices, understanding of RTMs.
  • Handling stakeholder communication in a clear and precise manner.
  • Creating contingency plans.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of SFTP/MFT/FTP.
  • Quickly jumping on calls and providing solutions.
  • Handling data, preparing reports using Excel or other data tools.

Eligibility Criteria:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology, BCA, BCS, B.Sc. Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience.
  • Strong knowledge of HCM product (HR, Payroll) functionality.
  • Strong knowledge of PL/SQL and RDBMS concepts and manual testing.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Analytical and Agile mindset.
