Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining applications with established processes while building a holistic understanding of the underlying applications and domain.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality software applications using Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
  • Create REST APIs and integrate them with other systems.
  • Design and implement distributed applications using cloud services like AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and design cohesive product strategies.
  • Mentor junior developers and lead by example.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in software development, preferably with Java and Spring Boot.
  • Strong understanding of Java 8+, Spring/Spring Boot, REST APIs, and cloud services like AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and version control tools like Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
