Print Services Manager

We are seeking an experienced Print Services Manager to oversee the management and support of our print environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage knowledge of printers, plotters, and Printing from a Mainframe.
  • Configure and troubleshoot mainframe, VPS, and VPSX systems.
  • Perform OCR operations on documents from Mainframe and hold queues in Mainframe to fix print issues.
  • Install and upgrade software activities.
  • Solve badge authentication and badge issues.
  • Troubleshoot printer-related issues such as driver installation, mapping of printers, print queues, and new printer requests.
  • Handle hardware issues related to printers.
  • Manage print services on the server.
  • Perform patching activities on print servers and validations.
  • Lead vendor calls.
  • Conduct health checks, weekly highlights, and monthly reports.
  • Resolve p1, p2 tickets and handle MI's.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Create and review SOPs.
  • Monitor and manage enterprise print services using OMPlus and LRS VPSX for print job routing, auditing, and failover.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • OMPlus- For centralised job control and monitoring.
  • LRS VPSX – For output management and delivery.
  • HP Web Jetadmin- for Device discovery, configuration, and firmware updates.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve user print issues - including print errors, Print queue issues, new printer requests and connectivity problems.
  • Manage print drivers and firmware upgrades.
  • OS knowledge ( Windows Server/Unix server )
