Job Title: Monitoring Specialist

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced professionals to fill our Monitoring Specialist role in our US client operations. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively monitor and acknowledge customer issues throughout the 24x7 shift, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, ISPs, and vendors in English (US) for troubleshooting purposes, leveraging strong interpersonal and technical skills.
  • Manage Jira ticketing tool to raise cases and notify onsite teams of alerts, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Configure and monitor network environments using Datadog, PagerDuty, Meraki, and other tools, driving process improvements and efficiency gains.
  • Integrate and set up Datadog agents on QNAP NAS, print servers, hosts, and VM devices (Linux and Windows-based), ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
  • Gain extensive knowledge of Datadog collectors, forwarders, APM agents, and datadog.yaml file setup, enabling expert-level troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Set up On/Off call shifts with escalation policies in PagerDuty, ensuring effective incident management and response.
  • Develop hands-on experience in setting up PagerDuty with Datadog and Meraki Dashboard, driving innovation and process enhancements.
Requirements:
  • 2-5 years of experience in monitoring engineering, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Jira ticketing tool, with experience in managing tickets and collaborating with teams.
  • Experience with Datadog, PagerDuty, Meraki, and other network management tools, with a strong understanding of their capabilities and applications.
  • Knowledge of Linux and Windows-based systems, with experience in configuring and managing these platforms.
