**Tax Resolution Expertise:**

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Tax Resolution Specialist. This role involves researching and validating refund requests related to real estate taxes, ensuring accurate and timely resolution of cases.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Review and analyze tax payment records, escrow accounts, and disbursement histories to identify overpayments, duplicate payments, or incorrect tax submissions.
  • Research tax authority documentation, payment confirmations, and client records to validate refund eligibility.
  • Coordinate with county/state tax authorities to initiate and track refund requests.
  • Prepare refund documentation, reconcile amounts, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of refund cases in tracking systems and ensure timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (disbursement, taxline setup, escrow, finance) to resolve discrepancies and provide supporting documentation.

**Required Skills & Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1–2 years of experience in real estate tax servicing, mortgage operations, escrow, or financial services
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, databases, and tax servicing platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
