Assistant Manager

">Job Description:
  • We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing support to the finance function, working closely with the controllership team to close Management Information System (MIS) and optimize costs of various functions.

The ideal candidate will have strong Excel/Google Sheet skills, good business acumen, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Previous experience as Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) is desired, experience in a start-up would be preferred, and knowledge of SQL would be a plus.

Responsibilities include developing deep understanding of the business, cost drivers, and other functions of the organization by doing data-driven trend analysis for operational metrics with focus on improving the shape of the Profit & Loss (P&L) statement while highlighting key insights to leadership.

The selected candidate will create processes for new initiatives and improve existing ones with focus on governance and cost leakage. They will also prepare, manage, and publish business scorecards and MIS, and do reconciliation of MIS and book of accounts to close Monthly MIS.

Stakeholder management and working closely with Controllership and Business Finance team are essential aspects of this role.
