STEM Educator

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly qualified STEM professional to join our team as an Educator.

The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality workshops and courses for teachers in STEM, utilizing progressive pedagogical and adult learning methodologies.

This role requires a strong background in mathematics, physics, or chemistry, as well as experience in capacity-building programs in Teacher Education. The ideal candidate will have the ability to analyze feedback on training programs and incorporate it into subsequent trainings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver high-quality workshops and courses for teachers in STEM, focusing on innovative teaching methods and techniques.
• Collaborate with other subject teams to develop and implement effective capacity-building programs in STEM.
• Analyze feedback from teachers and other training participants to inform future program development.
• Develop detailed program frameworks, teaching plans, and workshop modules for successful implementation.
• Maintain and update resources at the Resource Centre, ensuring they are current and relevant.
• Conceptualize, design, and conduct research projects on a regular basis to enhance educational outcomes.
• Provide on-site support to selected teachers in schools, offering guidance and mentorship in their respective subjects.

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of experience in capacity-building programs in Teacher Education.
• A Master's degree in Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry, or a related field, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Education.
