Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Test Automation Specialist. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automation frameworks, testing tools, and a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.
  • Execute regression, functional, integration, and performance tests.
  • Identify, log, and track defects; work closely with developers to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with QA, development, and business teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Enhance and optimize automation frameworks for scalability and reusability.
  • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices in testing.
  • Generate and share detailed test reports and metrics.
Technical Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of programming/scripting languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
  • Experience in API testing (Postman, RestAssured, Karate, etc.).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • Understanding of databases (SQL, Oracle, MySQL).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative Agile team.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required. 2-5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in test automation preferred. ISTQB or relevant QA certifications (preferred).
