Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development lifecycle, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure thorough coverage of our software features and functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and QA to identify and prioritize testing needs.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, and TestNG.
  • Identify, report, and troubleshoot defects found during testing.
  • Work closely with development teams to reproduce and resolve issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and design.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5-8 years of experience in software quality assurance engineering with strong knowledge of software automation testing principles.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Karate, JavaScript, Cypress, or Python.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based technologies like AWS, Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable Skills:

The following skills are highly desirable but not essential:

  • Experience with performance testing using tools like JMeter and Apache.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages like Perl, Ruby, or Shell.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
  • Experience with cloud-based testing tools and services like Appium, Sauce Labs, or BrowserStack.
