We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Investment Associate to join our team in Mumbai. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates early in their careers who are passionate about climate solutions, venture capital, and sustainable innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate will support the investment team in identifying potential investment opportunities through thorough research and preliminary outreach.
  • They will assist in conducting market validation, data collection, and financial analysis for potential deals, providing actionable insights to inform investment decisions.
  • Our ideal candidate will prepare high-quality investment memos, presentations, and supporting documentation to help inform investment decisions.
  • They will track performance and impact metrics, as well as conduct basic analyses for portfolio companies, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • The role requires sectoral research to inform investment theses and track trends in climate tech and sustainability, staying up-to-date on industry developments.
  • The selected candidate will also help coordinate our presence at events and build databases of relevant ecosystem players, fostering strong relationships within the industry.
Qualifications and Attributes
  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, finance, or related fields from a premier institution.
  • 1-2 years of work experience in investment banking, consulting, venture capital, or startup roles; climate-focused work experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills specific to early-stage investments, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas into clear and concise reports.
