Role Overview

The Senior Director will own directly a certain body of work and provide support to the RWD organization. They will lead a team of analysts that support the RFP process, requiring a solid understanding of the customer problem and RWD assets.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leadership and subject matter expertise in RWD and clinical experience. They will be responsible for building Indication Specific Data Lakes by supervising offshore resources to create, expand, and maintain this data lake powered by unstructured notes.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of analysts that support the RFP process for the team, requiring a solid understanding of the customer problem and RWD assets.
  • Provide guidance and oversight for the consulting delivery work, including shaping how the work is funnelled to the offshore team and optimizing how the work is delivered.
  • Build Indication Specific Data Lakes by supervising offshore resources to create, expand, and maintain this data lake powered by unstructured notes.
  • Manage and lead the team, serving as the single point of escalation for all team-related matters and working closely with global leaders to ensure a healthy team.
Requirements
  • Proven leadership and subject matter expertise in RWD and clinical experience, preferably with a post-grad degree in clinical or bioinformatics.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of experience leading globally distributed teams delivering consulting work predominantly focused on Data Science and Data Engineering.
  • Total of 15-18 years of work experience, with at least 80% of recent experience in bioinformatics, biopharma, and LifeScience related domains.

This role requires a strong understanding of AI/ML/NLP and coding skills, preferably in RWD/RWE functions.
