Senior Software Architect

As a seasoned technology leader, you will oversee the technical direction of a team of developers and be responsible for setting coding standards and fostering a high-performance environment. Your expertise in architecting scalable applications using Python (Django) and Java will drive innovation in our enterprise-grade solutions.

We are seeking a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to lead our development efforts. Key responsibilities include technical leadership, mentorship, architecting and developing applications, designing RESTful APIs, database management, software architecture, security best practices, CI/CD and DevOps, collaboration, and production support.

To excel in this role, you should have a deep understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture. Proficiency in PostgreSQL, ORM frameworks like Hibernate or JPA, and experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems design are also essential.

In addition, you should have hands-on experience with modern development tools such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes. A strong background in security standards, including authentication and authorization mechanisms, is also required.

Key Requirements:

  • 10+ years of professional software development experience
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in Python and Django
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture
  • Experience with ORM frameworks, specifically Hibernate/JPA
  • Proficiency in PostgreSQL database design, query optimization, and performance tuning
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems design
  • Knowledge of security standards, including authentication and authorization mechanisms
  • Hands-on experience with modern development tools: Git, CI/CD pipelines, and ideally, Docker and Kubernetes
