Lead UI/UX Designer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead UI/UX Designer to provide thought leadership, training, and inspiration to our design team.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for communicating effectively with various departments (business development, developers, and project managers).
  • The role involves leading regular creative sessions and fostering a culture of learning among team members.
  • The ideal candidate will create user-centered designs by considering competitors' analysis, data, and technical constraints/opportunities.
  • This includes developing user flows, wireframes, design mockups, and prototypes to conceptualize new ideas.
  • The candidate should stay up-to-date with competitor products, features, and industry trends.
  • Performance of UI/UX audits and tests is also required to iterate over existing designs.
  • The successful candidate will simplify complex processes into intuitive and elegant UI.
  • Establishing and maintaining detailed user-interface patterns and specifications is an essential part of the role.
  • Collaboration with developers to ensure thorough design implementation is crucial.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years' experience in core UI/UX is mandatory.
  • The ability to manage a team of 4-5 designers is essential.
  • Strong communication, time management, and analytical skills are necessary.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving attitude are key requirements.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Office is expected.
