Job Title: Senior Legal Counsel

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Legal Counsel to join our legal leadership team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex legal matters, advising senior management, and collaborating with external counsel.

This role involves:

  • Providing strategic legal advice on business transactions, litigation, and compliance issues.
  • Leading internal teams and coordinating with external counsel to achieve business objectives.
  • Developing and implementing legal strategies to mitigate risks and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing litigation and dispute resolution processes.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements.
  • Advising on regulatory compliance and risk management.
  • Collaborating with business teams to develop and implement legal strategies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A law degree from a reputable institution.
  • A minimum of 15 years' experience in a multinational company, preferably in the power/infrastructure/energy sectors.
  • A strong understanding of commercial laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
