Job Overview

As a Legal Advisor, you will play a crucial role in structuring and mitigating risks for M&A, JV, and strategic investment transactions.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating definitive agreements, including SPAs, shareholders' agreements, term sheets, NDAs, etc.

You will work closely with internal teams, external legal counsels, and counterparties to ensure deal execution is legally sound.

A strong understanding of entity structures, cross-border transactions, and regulatory considerations is essential.

Responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing legal due diligence processes across target companies and assets
  • Identifying key legal risks and providing strategic recommendations to the deal team
  • Maintaining legal checklists, risk matrices, and deal documentation
  • Supporting the development of internal governance frameworks for investment and acquisition decisions

Requirements:

  • LLB or equivalent law degree from a reputed institution
  • 8+ years of post-qualification experience in a legal role within a corporate M&A or investment context (preferably in-house or with top-tier law firms)
  • Exposure to structured finance, cross-border transactions, and regulatory filings
  • Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen
  • Ability to handle fast-paced, high-value, and confidential transactions with precision
