Job Title: Institutional Strengthening Specialist

Description:

  • A seasoned professional with at least 15 years of experience in institutional development and strengthening of large organizations globally.
  • Masters degree in Human Resources Management or relevant disciplines, with a proven track record of providing similar services such as training needs assessment, customized training program planning, organization, and execution, conferences/workshops/seminars, public outreach programs for government schemes, annual training calendar preparation, ISO certifications, and other activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as Nodal Expert for all activities related to dam safety institutional strengthening.
  • Prepare and finalize the annual training calendar for capacity-building programs.
  • Coordinate and implement domestic and international training programs, including logistics and stakeholder coordination.
  • Organize and oversee public outreach programs and annual dam safety conferences/workshops.
  • Finalize draft guidelines/manuals for official publication.
  • Prepare and publish regular bulletins on project activities.
  • Manage social media platforms and print/digital media for project activities.
  • Advise the Project Director on corrective and technical matters.
  • Manage the official website and MIS system.
  • Support Capacity Building Team in finalizing training programs and addressing capacity-building issues.
  • Conduct review meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Oversee expert teams for preparing and revising guidelines/manuals.
  • Organize training programs on DHARMA, Seismic Hazard Mapping, and other initiatives.
  • Handle assigned project-related activities by the Project Director.
  • Presentation of technical case studies at Annual Dam Safety Conferences and workshops.
  • Coordinate and contribute to the preparation of Project Rehabilitation Reports.
  • Support finalization of the CS&QA Manual and Plan.
  • Train Trainers of Trainers (TOT) to strengthen institutions for successful completion and publication of operation manuals.
  • Ensure timely delivery of various final documents under agreements.
  • Provide regular updates on project activities across media platforms.
