Job Summary

Our organization is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture and mentoring senior engineers.

This position involves building a holistic roadmap for data warehouse offerings, solving complex data modeling challenges, and ensuring smooth delivery of features.

  • More than 10 years of experience in data engineering, with at least 4 years leading teams.
  • Strong coding expertise: Python, JVM, and shell scripting with production-grade experience.
  • At least 5 years in cloud-native, data-intensive applications with mandatory AWS expertise.
  • Proven experience in data warehouse design & development using modern DW tools.
  • Hands-on with Databricks and dbt (mandatory).
  • Expert in Airflow (workflow orchestration).
  • Strong experience building & maintaining Spark applications.
  • Deep understanding of file formats: Parquet, Delta Lake, OTFs.
  • Proficiency in building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or ArgoCD).
  • Solid knowledge of unit testing & test automation frameworks.
  • Ability to propose/review architecture and solve complex data models.

Preferred candidates will have familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes for containerization, hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation), and exposure to observability systems (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).

As a Principal Data Engineer, you will lead and mentor top engineering talent, build & optimize cutting-edge data platforms with modern cloud-native technologies, influence architecture and business-aligned tech roadmaps, and collaborate with a collaborative, innovative, and growth-driven culture.
