Senior Analytics Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our analytics team at a pharmaceutical company. The successful candidate will leverage advanced data analytics and predictive modeling to deliver high-impact outcomes for the organization.

About the Role

This is a senior-level position that requires a strong background in healthcare analytics, with experience working with real-world patient datasets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering insights that inform product development and marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the full lifecycle of pharmaceutical products from development to market launch using advanced analytics to uncover key trends and opportunities.
  • Conduct market sizing, cohort analysis, risk stratification, and KPI modeling to inform product and marketing strategies.
  • Build and optimize automated data pipelines to improve reporting efficiency and deliver faster insights.
  • Develop and present interactive dashboards, visualizations, and executive presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Partner with Sales teams to translate analytical insights into scalable, productized solutions.
  • Collaborate with regional analytics teams, sharing best practices in predictive modeling, machine learning, and advanced SQL querying.
  • Mentor junior team members, promoting analytical excellence and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience working with pharma clients, leveraging longitudinal real-world patient datasets.
  • Strong solutioning mindset, able to engage directly with clients, unpack requirements, and own the problem→solution path.
  • Proven client communication skills, confident running stakeholder meetings, handling back-and-forth, and presenting insights.
  • Team leadership experience, managing and mentoring analysts/scientists, setting standards, reviewing work, and building repeatable best practices.
  • Technical excellence in advanced SQL, Python, data viz, and power-user of Excel.
  • Healthcare analytics background with real-world/claims/EMR data, comfortable with clinical context and quick to learn unfamiliar disease areas.
  • Degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
  • Mindset: hungry, curious, and proactive, eager to learn and continuously raise the bar for the team.
