Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and customize software solutions within the banking platform.
  • Develop and maintain integration and interface programs for various banking modules.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver robust technical solutions.
  • Ensure quality of deliverables through thorough testing and adherence to coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide support when needed.

Skills & Qualifications :

  • 4- 7 years of hands-on experience in banking software development.
  • Strong command of programming tools such as JBASE, InfoBasic, Version Control, and software upgrades.
  • Good understanding of core banking processes, particularly in Lending and Payments modules (preferred).
  • Experience in developing interfaces, batch processing, and customizations in banking software.
  • Proficient in debugging and performance tuning of banking applications.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Exposure to banking software upgrades or implementations.
  • Knowledge of integration with third-party APIs or middleware.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
