JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Senior Architect

Location: Pune

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Senior Architect with a proven track record in PMC (Pune Municipal Corporation) and PCMC (Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation) projects. The ideal candidate should have a blend of creative design skills, strong liaisoning capabilities, and experience working with reputed architectural firms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the architectural design process from concept to execution.
  • Manage liaisoning activities with PMC, PCMC, and other statutory authorities for timely approvals.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Review and approve design drawings, specifications, and related documentation.
  • Provide creative and functional design solutions while maintaining compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Foster client relationship and maintain regular communication to ensure satisfaction.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong creative design and conceptualization abilities.
  • Excellent liaisoning skills with government authorities and regulatory bodies.
  • In-depth knowledge of building codes, local by-laws, and statutory approval processes.
  • Project management and coordination expertise.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 1215 years of professional experience, with substantial exposure to PMC and PCMC projects.
  • Prior experience with reputed firms such as VK:a architecture, Sankalp Design, A & T Consultants, ADVA, Ganti & Associates Inc. or similar will be an added advantage.
  • Registered Architect with the Council of Architecture (COA).
