Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned fundraising expert to lead our efforts in securing diverse and predictable funding for a global movement advancing compassion as a practical force for justice, equality, peace, and sustainability.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy across high-net-worth individuals, corporate social responsibility, foundations, and digital/community giving. This will include building relationships with key stakeholders, creating compelling narratives and case for support, and securing multi-year commitments.

About the Role
  • Develop and implement a 3-year fundraising strategy with targets by segment and program.
  • Own the full donor lifecycle: research, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and renewal/upgrades.
  • Design multi-year giving vehicles and create a balanced pipeline of early, mid, and late-stage prospects.
  • Represent the organization with credibility and build trust with diverse stakeholders.
  • Secure strategic partnerships with corporations, foundations, and high-influence networks.

Key Requirements

  • Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field; fundraising certifications a plus.
  • 8-10+ years of direct fundraising experience with a proven track record in major-gifts and institutional fundraising.
  • Experience launching or scaling new initiatives in research, education, skill development, and community empowerment.
  • Strong grasp of donor management, digital marketing, brand positioning, and campaign/event orchestration.
  • Regulatory fluency and governance sensibility.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; G-Suite and CRM proficiency.
