Next-Generation Cybersecurity Solutions Consultant

We are seeking a seasoned expert to join our team as a Next-Generation Cybersecurity Solutions Consultant. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and delivering cutting-edge solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects, collaborate with talented professionals, and contribute to shaping the future of cybersecurity.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design custom security policies and application signatures for unique client environments.
  • Consult and guide clients on best practices methodologies and serve as a trusted advisor for Palo Alto Networks.
  • Analyze logs and events from the solution and provide threat analysis reports, offering input and direction as needed.
  • Work proactively with our Technical Assistance Center to troubleshoot and diagnose cases as escalations arise.
  • Maintain implemented solutions and provide mentorship on code upgrades, changes to the platform, and new technology developments.
  • Collaborate with sales account teams to develop technical strategies addressing customer business needs.
  • Support direct managers in managing business requirements through regular reports and quarterly business reviews.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A 4-year Engineering Degree or equivalent education/training/experience in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in document creation.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience with firewall and IDS/IPS solutions in large environments.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the installation, configuration, and operation of Palo Alto Networks products.
  • Extensive knowledge of various security threats.
  • A strong understanding of Internet protocols and applications.
  • Demonstrated project leadership skills and the ability to conduct design meetings.
  • The ability to leverage a variety of tools to complete migrations (e.g., scripts, Excel, third-party tools).
