About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Magento 2 Expert Lead to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Write and maintain high-quality modules for Magento2 EE/Cloud.
  • Develop clean, modular, and robust code to implement business requirements with minimal supervision.
  • Create reusable components that can be configured for different projects.
  • Write unit test cases and unit testing of the code written.
  • Review business requirements and work closely with other team members.
  • Work with QA and Customer Support teams to triage and fix bugs efficiently.
  • Contribute ideas for improving the application's functionality and user experience.
  • Research new integration capabilities and build new features through Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs).

Requirements:

  • Strong PHP and Magento skills with emphasis on Object-Oriented Programming.
  • Experience with MySQL Database.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • Understanding of Magento System Architecture, Design, Theming, Functionality Enhancements, and Configuration.
  • Experience in creating customizable plugins for Magento.
  • Strong understanding of W3C compliant HTML and CSS.
  • Good knowledge of JavaScript (ES5/ES6), jQuery, and MVC framework.
  • Familiarity with server-side communication using Ajax and JSON.
  • Experience developing sophisticated front-end applications and solving cross-browser issues.
  • Understanding of SEO and Accessibility compliance.
  • Basic knowledge of build tools like Webpack, Grunt, or Gulp.
  • Previous experience in e-commerce is highly preferred.
  • A plus would be familiarity with Mirakl or other marketplace platforms.
