Senior Financial Reporting Accountant - US

  • Maintaining open lines of communication to understand client needs and concerns, providing regular financial updates and reports on clients.
  • Responsible for month end close, quarter close and preparation of financial statements for D2C business, ensuring that accounting policies are applied consistent with corporate guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

  • Preparation of financial statements including balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement.
  • Monthly close process, identifying and resolving any discrepancies in accounts.

Accounting Operations:

  • Manage accounting department day-to-day operations AR, AP, FA, payroll and inventory.
  • Ensure timely payment, collection, invoicing and other operational activities.

Tax Compliance:

  • Coordinate tax reporting requirements, working with external tax accountants to file federal, state, sales, and property tax returns.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient knowledge of accounting software applications such as QBO, Business Central.
  • Good communication skills to provide comfort to clients.
  • Working experience of 4-6 years as a US accountant in professional services firm.
  • Working knowledge in accounting issues and accounting standards (including US GAAP/IFRS) as applicable.
  • CA preferred with experience working in multi-national organization.
