Senior Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

The position involves overseeing and managing the entire OCI infrastructure. A strong foundation in tenancy, virtual cloud networks (VCNs), compartments, network layers, firewalls, subnets, and storage options is essential.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining and optimizing the performance of OCI infrastructure through regular updates and monitoring.
  • Developing Terraform scripts for application deployments on OCI and managing OCI resources.
  • Carrying out performance enhancements, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
  • Configuring CPU, memory, and disk partitions to ensure high availability of infrastructure.
  • Ensuring timely implementation of OS patches and upgrades, along with upgrading administrative tools and utilities.
  • Provisioning Network Security Groups, Bastion Hosts, Public Load Balancers, and storage solutions.
  • Understanding requirements for provisioning compute nodes, networks, and storage.
  • Familiarity with IaaS solutions, including virtual machines, networks, on-premise/hybrid cloud computing, cloud identity, security models, cloud monitoring, logging, local and cloud storage.
  • Handling Certificate renewals on OCI.
  • Implementing HA architecture within an OCI environment.
  • Migrating data between environments using migration tools.

  • OCP - Oracle Cloud Certified Architect Associate/Professional (mandatory).
  • OCP - Oracle Cloud Certified Migration and Integration Specialist (preferred).
  • OCP - Oracle Cloud Certified Security Associate/Professional (preferred).
  • OCP - Oracle Cloud Certified Cloud Operations Associate (preferred).
