We are seeking an experienced professional to serve as a senior cloud network automation engineer, responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based network solutions. This role will drive the transformation and automation of network operations, ensuring scalable, secure, and highly available connectivity across multi-cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud networking architectures in Azure, GCP, and/or OCI, focusing on scalability, security, and high availability.
  • Lead the automation of network provisioning, configuration, and monitoring using Terraform, Ansible, and Python, ensuring efficient and reliable operations.
  • Develop and enforce networking best practices and security standards across cloud environments, promoting compliance and security.
  • Integrate network automation with CI/CD pipelines to support Infrastructure as Code (IaC), enabling agile development and deployment.
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues across hybrid cloud and on-prem environments, providing expert-level technical support.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers, fostering growth and development within the team.
  • Collaborate with security, DevOps, and application teams to ensure optimal network performance and compliance, driving cross-functional collaboration.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to architecture and processes, ensuring the organization remains competitive and innovative.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's preferred, demonstrating advanced knowledge and expertise.
  • Strong experience in network engineering (7+ years), with 5+ years focused on cloud networking and automation, showcasing depth of knowledge and skills.
  • Deep expertise in Azure, GCP networking services, including architecture, implementation, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong scripting/programming skills in Python, Go, or similar languages, with experience in infrastructure automation tools like Terraform and Ansible.
  • Proven experience with Terraform, Ansible, and other infrastructure automation tools, demonstrating hands-on expertise.
  • Familiarity with container networking is a plus, highlighting adaptability and willingness to learn.
  • In-depth understanding of routing protocols, firewalls, DNS, and load balancing, showcasing comprehensive knowledge of network fundamentals.
  • Experience with multi-cloud hub spoke architecture, SD-WAN, and hybrid network architectures, highlighting versatility and ability to adapt to different environments.
  • Manage network modules in GitHub, utilizing version control and collaboration tools effectively.
  • GitHub Actions CI/CD pipeline experience, ensuring proficiency in automating workflows and deployments.
  • Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect, GCP Solutions Architect, CCNP/CCIE, or similar are a strong plus, demonstrating commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with network observability tools, enhancing visibility and insights into network performance.
  • Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps principles, promoting agility, flexibility, and continuous improvement.
